Youtube should be all about sharing videos and having the community comment on them. I do not believe that comments should be allowed to be disabled. If there are spam comments, they can be edited out, or maybe the username blocked, but having a healthy discussion should be permitted on all videos, especially those pertaining to religious views and similar.

Censoring should only be allowed if the comments are spam. But if the comments are an argument against a person's belief, then that person should have the balls and argue back. Don't hide behind censorship and think the debate will go away. People who do that look weak.
