    I'm also planning for almost the same with wall-mounted System-Unit w/out the casing and may be the monitor and speakers as well. Also thinking about plain shelves for my printer and scanner..

    Can you please post the details for materials used and detailed measurements (with photos) including the height of your computer chair seat..
