Measuring Manny is an in-depth look at the progression of Manny Pacquiao as a fighter and an analysis of the level of competition he has been facing since Marquez on 3-15-08.

1) How much has Manny improved as a fighter?
2) Since, Marquez in 2008, has Manny been fighting elite fighters?
3) Why was Juan Marquez so difficult for Manny Pacquiao anyway?
4) Has the accolades Manny been receiving for beating these fighters justified?

Measuring Manny is a 2 part series, with video commentary to support the insight.

no kidding. people dont realize that pac really isnt all that skilled, he's just picking the right stiffs to look fast against. any b level boxer would pick him apart. I'm sure by the time he fights even a b level boxer, he will have some sort of physical advantage so he can go spazz on them without worry.

  • @MyAragorn But then Pac isn't TRULY fighting those same fighters, just drained dumbed down versions

  • and NO. cotto is an elite lvl fighter. cotto wud beat marquez hands dwn at welter.

  • de la hoya actually did look pathetic. by the way lvl of competition is not just based on mvement. from what ur saying any fighter who doesnt do what marquez does is a bum and low lvl competition? and every 1 who faces manny has to run around the ring and counter? what u dnt realize is if you are an aggressive fighter, your not going to bounce around and give a moving target. wht u r implying is if ur nt a back pedaling counter puncher u r a bum. and dts nt true. it jus means ur style is 4 pac

  • @joburke10 I thought you said that Manny would show improvement in their 3rd fight hahaha

  • @joburke10 Mayweather is a whole lot better then Marquez. He's stronger, faster, and he takes punches better then Marquez. Marquez took Manny's punches and Manny couldn't knock him out. Manny also couldn't duck Marquez punches. Marquez couldn't hit Mayweather but he got hit with ease. Every brawling fighter like Pacquaio that Mayweather has faced has been knocked out. He'll suffer the same.

  • Cotto has very underrated defence, he was on the downslide by the time he faced pacquiao. He doesnt do the philly shell as well as mayweather but he is a good counter puncher, Mosley prepared for a brawler yet cotto counterpunched him all day. That being said, the beating that he took from margarito really damaged him and there was also a chance that margarito used plaster.

  • @joburke10 do you remember when you said this? lol

  • @joburke10 Looks like you were wrong!
