Hmm hate to repeat but.... can you just use the cintiq 12wx just by itself... or does it have to be connected to your computer... or plugged in... or is it like the iPad where you can just use the device free of chords?
-
..so uhhhh pretty much...
-
@gelvispro hey, at the time I had no idea whether this thing could work separately or just as another monitor with a touchscreen. such specs were hard to find.
-
@piperevans can you have a pc monitor in other room not attached to pc? silly question.
-
@mangaismything the 12wx is $999
-
i was wondering....how muchare these!?!?!
-
@piperevans no. The cintiq works like another monitor

love my cintiq 12wx. personally its the right size if you're just an amateur who wants the benefits of a tablet screen. the full-size cintiqs are like working on a canvas, easel or a desk. the 12 is like working on those 17" drawing paper books (even though the screen is 12", the bezel is 17"). my only complaint is the viewing angles and color reproduction isn't that great (but you can work around it by calibrating the cintiq screen and your pc monitor)

Useful tip of the Day: If you draw with your right hand, put the camera on the left. That way we can see what you are drawing! The more you know... :D
1:13 seconds is where this guy stops talking. Just skip to that part.
