I am sad that you are so sad.

To get the clear resolution to some of my withholds from the faith it took me all of 32 years holding these things in abeyance with very deep prayer, contemplation & writing as well. If I thought there were any roads to unity with near the power of the Faith, I could’ve quit long ago. there are none. @scrappylor that would be quite difficult to describe.Part of it had to do with Progressive Revelation,I didn't believe that tenant.I can better say it in reverse, I never liked teaching the faith so I think that reflected a deep dissatisfaction or disbelief on my part.I also felt I was being called to a different faith and had several confirmations that made that clear. So I followed those prompts.

Abdu'l-Baha spoke at universities, churches, secular societies and elsewhere in France, Germany, England, USA, etc upon being released from almost sixty years of incarceration and house arrest. His talks are collected in three volumes - continuing his themes in his writings which include the need for harmony between science & religion, need for independent search for truth, working for world peace and brotherhood, etc. If you read any of it, what appears cultish to you?

@giterdun77 When you make such disparaging statements you must show evidence, proof. Where is your evidence for these serious accusations? Nothing is censured, nothing is hidden. What have you read?

Rather, the Bahai Faith is a challenge to the entrenched religious leaders, like the clergy of Noah, Hud, Saleh, Jesus and Mohummad (SAW), and these leaders promote misinformation and innuendo when they have no facts.

Keep an open mind.
