I would maybe say he was overrated if I could find ANY other mash up artists who were making stuff half as good as this. Save a very, very small handful of dudes, Girl Talk has been the top of his class. I mean, he's got two albums of this stuff. Two hours of incredible stuff like this. You're lucky if you can even find a dude who can make one good song along these lines. I mean, it's not the best music ever or anything, but it's hard to find music that's more fun!

@MultiJacob17 Except that it is. It's simple in concept but significantly more difficult to pull off in practice. His transitions are flawless, his choices are superb, one does in fact need to have a keen musical mind to be able to mash up songs properly. Never mind the fact that most mash up artists use only two songs and play around with timing and rhythm. He uses dozens of songs to make one new track that have a sound and life completely different from the tracks he's used.

@cycloneflava50 Good luck. Anyone can do it, just like anyone can learn the guitar. It's hard to make a good mash-up though. Few are on the level of Girl Talk.
