OH no no. This is not true. You get taxed if you have more than that much in 'assets' there is a difference.

honestly, no. i was told it is when you give it to someone after you die it is like them winning the lottery and they get taxed 50% even if it's in the millions of dollars and you give it away it should be left alone. i think anything put into a 401k should be tax exempt, even after withdraw because you won't need soc. sec. if you do it right. if i'm wrong let me know.
