Mabinogi G2: The Final Fight (Part 2)

Tabhartus defeated. Finally!

Currently i get thrown off because my "Falcon Smash" failed. The last bomb however, did manage to hit it.

Morgant comes since he hears all the "noise". He realises that Esras used Rian as a Human Sacrafice to create Tabhartus. Ruairi comes and asks who killed Rian. Esras blames me for killing Ruairi's Bro. Ruairi demands revenge on the Humans and the Goddess. Morgant later on gives Ruairi some Strength and both of them leave. Esras says that Rian was already dead and was brought back alive by her. Redire knows the truth about Esras: She is not a Druid, but a Necromancer (someone who can bring back the dead. Rian was already killed because of Redire in Coill, and his body was brought back to life). Esras wants to re-create another Tabhartus and tries to Kill us both for delaying her plans.

Although they have around 200 hp, they are Multi Aggro which can get annoying.

You fight Esras now. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE DARK SKELETONS!!!! THEY ARE MULTI AGGRO WHICH CAN GET ANNOYING! Esras has the same AI as a Succubus (quite similar). Time after time, when you hit her (smash perferically), she will just stand still and do nothing. If shes far away from Dark Skeletons, smash her into a corner. Although people say to Wm Spam her, its not recommended since she can choose to retalliate if she wants (a little chance but if she does, your in a world of hurt since your hp is probably quite low after Wm Spam). I would just Smash her until she dies. However if she does decide to retalliate, put up Defense. When the hit lands, try to perform N+Wm (although theres a 50% chance PD might activate, still she may not retalliate) then victory!

Defeating Esras earns you "the Paladin" title. As well, you gain the Skills: Spirit of Order (if you leave the dungeon, it will say "Gained Knowledge" and you cant use it), Power of Order, Eye of Order, and Sword of Order.

Spirit of Order: Increases Hp, Mp, Sp, Def, and Pro

Power of Order: Increases Str, Will

Eye of Order: Increases Dex, Balance

Sword of Order: Increases Dmg, Wound Rate

I couldnt record the Credits since i completed it without recording by accident and the Crystal Ball wont let me view the Ending.

Later on, Redire will give you a quest for Passive Defense. You will look for 5 last pages of the book: "Book of Paladin" as well as the Keyword: "Book of Paladin". Completeing gains you the Passive Defense Skills.

Paladin Heavy Stander: Activation of Heavy Stander

Paladin Mana Refractor: Activation of Mana Refractor

Paladin Natural Shield: Activation of Natural Shield

Note that the book already has the first 2 pages enchanted. However, skipping G2 will make you get all 7.

Spoiler: Tabhartus and Esras will return in G9 Patch and continue to attempt to rule over Erinn as well as wreak havoc. Prepare yourself!

Next part: G3: "Dark Knight"

Relog to see a message from the Goddess. She will warn you about the Goddess's statues in the Dungeons scattered across Erinn. She will give you the Keyword: "Breaking the Seal". Talk to Tarlach. He will referr you talk to Greedy Gilmore for the pass to the Destroyed Statue. Talk to him with the Keyword: "The Pass to the Other World". Gilmore the Greedy will give you the pass but costs 1.5k (Does Gilmore have to charge a pass for money? Thats a bad habit!). Drop it at Barri Altar (the statue you come across is destroyed). This dungeon is the 2nd version of Barri Gateway but boss is 1 Flying Sword and 2 Wisps instead of 3 Swords and 4 Wisps. At the end you will see a cutscene with Rian and Esras. Upon clearing Barri Gateway V2, you will end up in Dark Bangor. Go to Dark Gariech and talk to Morc the Kobold. He will state something about Macha, the Goddess of Destruction, and then warp you back to Light Bangor. Return to Tarlach with the Keyword: "Macha, Goddess of Destruction". He will give you the Book: "Macha, According to Emain Macha". This collection quests requires you to talk to every NPC with the Keyword from Morc. Click the Reward (although you dont get anything but you move on to the next part of the quest) when its finished. Return to Tarlach and give him the book. Now wait 2 Erinn Days for the next quest. Go to Wyllow.

@loedketay Well, if you have decent skills, you should be able to do this. Some things like around Rank 8 Combat Mastery, Rank 8+ Smash, etc. But I did it with Rank 3 Firebolt, got done in a sinch. 3 5 Charges of Firebolt and I KO'd it. I did that so fast, I was still pally in that cutscene. -Exred from Mari (TTL Lv = 355) Rank 1 Firebolt now.
