At exactly 16.45 CET on the 30th September 2010 via a live global webcast, surrounded by the world's press, Lotus made the ultimate statement of intent. Five new cars, two evolutions of existing models and a concept car. A sumptuous new magazine. A flashy new website. And a range of merchandise featuring not one, not two, but three separate clothing ranges.
Cameras have followed Lotus VIPs, high profile celebrities, including motor racing legend Sir Stirling Moss, and industry people as they attended an exclusive event at Paris' iconic gallery, the Louvre, on the evening of the 29th September.
As the new cars were launched to the world in a grand opening at the Paris Motor Show the cameras followed all the action. Celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Mickey Rouke, Brian May and Stephen Baldwin unveiled the cars to the delight of the Motor Show. This was captured alongside interviews with Dany Bahar, CEO Group Lotus and Donato Coco, Director of Design Group Lotus.
The event is the 'rebirth' of Lotus
