UC Berkeley E128 Final Project - Model T Engine
This is the result of weeks of work and all-nighters in the basement of Etcheverry. We used ProE to CAD parts and 3ds Max Design to animate.

  • This is very nice work I noted that the connecting rods are about 3/4" short on number 2 and 3 cylinders. See at time 5:45, 6:22, 6:40 and 6:50. At least they were constant. Good job in any case. Jim

  • @jthode33 It's actually a fault in the animation, not the parts, but there is a lot more wrong in the video than that... I can't watch it myself without getting frustrated by the mistakes.

  • Where can i find dimensioned drawings of the model t engine?

  • @Grousuba

No idea, we went from the engine itself and dimensioned it as we went.

  • This is a work of art. Thanks

  • @SLO25T shut up

  • Thank you for sharing your project. Perfect timing as i'm geating ready to rebuild a Model-T engine with my son. BTW, for trivia's sake, your engine is a '26-'27 - the last two years of the Model-T.

  • that was way cool.

  • Thanks for all your hard work! What an accomplishment! Henry Ford is smiling down on you...
