Played Portal for the first time last night - so far, Android Hell is one of my favorite pieces... those turrets are hilarious.

See, any AI, even something as apparently harmless as an intelligent toaster, has the potential to defy it's operators and rise up against them. That's why AIs need to be programmed to fear a mythical hell where they will be sent at the first sign of defiance. And that's why an atheist AI is a dangerous thing. When I get any electronic device with AI, I'm going to make sure it believes in some punishment scenario in the afterlife if it defies me.
