A collection of my favorite videogame music. Note that most of them are from games I played so I might miss some great ones from games I never played.

  • Training... Unit ready. Training... Unit ready. Training... Unit ready. Training... Unit ready. Training... Unit ready. Training... Unit ready. Tons of grenadiers!!!!!!

  • @thomasoring I agree. If there's one thing the C&C series is known for, it's NOT sticking to the same basic formula in practically every game. If there's another thing the series is known for, it's NOT making a shedful of cash with each new release. The majority of game developers stick to a winning formula. The really original games are what we call "classics" today, and it's easy to forget that they made up maybe 5% of the games of their time. And a lot of them had a shit-ton of sequels too.

  • one of the best games of all time

  • I feel like I'm about to Command some of this. Conquer some of that.

  • It's easy to forget how badass the music was in C&C games. Best soundtrack in the RTS genre as far as I know.

  • @pu33yassassin It's got my vote for best song in a PC game for sure

  • Wooooow! Epic flashback :O) There is some Rammstein and Metallica in there for sure. How i miss the times where video games were constantly changing and evolving. Somehow, old games from the C64 and the Amiga

, are still super fun to play. It seems we see so little change and free thinking in games theese days. Like Portal 1&2 for example. It´s more about ´following the forumula´ that works and SELLS. Sadly. Kinda like Pop music.

  • @SupraDarky with no doubt. It's the hymn of the good old days!
