Photographic Portraiture - Want to learn about this photograph of Mary? (Example #2).

http://www.clickherephotographytips.com I have produced a video that explains a little about a particular photograph that I have taken.... I have provided a few tips about how I set up the photograph, the equipment used, various props (if any) and other information that you may find of interest.

This photograph was very easy to take shoot you take some time to plan the shot and you have some basic photographic equipment. If you are interested in looking outside the square to create a result that is a little different, please watch this video

i have just one question. When is better to use flash and when reflector? Thanks

I find that it is easier to use a reflector outdoors when you want to add a particular mood, for example a Gold reflector will provide a nice warm effect while a white reflector is a little softer and a silver reflector is a little harsher

You can achieve similar results with a flash, thou.

I use a flash when I have to work fast (not enough time to set up a reflector), when there is not enough available light, if I do not have an assistant, or; if I want to create effects with shadows.

I didn't actually use a flash...

I used a reflector in both photographs, thanks for the comment.
