Beautiful, unexpected, unanticipated, surprising return-on-investment from social media. We needed a jet airplane to pick up and return the president of Liberia from Charlotte's international airport on a very tight schedule. Picking the President up by limo wouldn't give us enough time. Our friends were willing to donate the use of turbo-prop airplanes; however, the President's past experience on propeller-driven aircraft made them an unworkable option.

Combine one Facebook update with an alert ambassador of good will to yield an incredible return of a jet to help a small charity and the president of a small, recovering African nation. Maybe not ROI to impress your banker, but a return that made good things happen.
