So you thing the education's goal is only to prepare children to work in the design dpt instead of the shop floor? I think it is much more than that... Poor video, poor ideas.
But children need guidance in distinguishing good references from trash on the internet...and what about trying to get resources which aren't available online?
But what is creativity, if you don't know anything? I've also seen too emphasis on 'being creative'. It sounds hazy and frankly, it doesn't help. Being creative occurs within a domain of knowledge or artistic skill: it's not a floating attribute that comes from the sky.
Technology should not be touted as a cure-for-all in education if there is no evidence to back up the assertions. There's too much hype over what computers and such like can do for the student. "You can help a student think...but you can't make them think."
I don't care how many college degrees you have our how many computers you put in the class room. Jobs will migrate with the lowest possible wage that also means people who have college degrees. LOL ! it's a race to the bottom Robert Kiyosaki was dead on the nail when he said that more and more people competeing for less and less jobs that pay less less and less. Welcome to the global economy folks.
