rather odd. she says ddr3 ram but the info says ddr2 ram. some minor things. she says 1366x788. and again with the "very powerful".

I actually bought this laptop from tigerdirect a month or 2 before this video, to me it sucks, but its ok. I can do basic gaming and daily stuff, but when trying to boot into safe mood, it doesn't work the first time, you have to fix it. Then when trying to boot off a CD, it gets the BSOD. Good for basic users, not for nerds like me though.

well both as Acer is dirt cheap but then built dirt cheap too!
Last time i checked them, i was afraid to open and close laptop lid thinking of the screen going to be damaged
so what's mostly breaking in Acers?
the IBM thinkpad T42 2373-6vu had many issues with the motherboard

All I can say from briefly working for a laptop repair shop, no chance in hell i'm getting an Acer. More than half of the laptops that needed repairs were Acer. Either they are extremely popular around where I live or they break down a lot. I'm inclined to go with the latter.
