There's another unfortunate mistake... investors like these guys being too much "confident" (one of them used that word) about crooks.
How come? How they couldn't research, follow up even more closely and ASK questions?
Explanations are futile now considering that these guys made also a big mistake in being too much credulous about earning a lot of money.
Too much credulity is the key issue here and investors are (unfortunately) stupid.
Financial Literacy is the answer...
