@TestValleyRailway hahaha i guess so

@5029tom Don't bother repainting anything in the Hornby Thomas Range, that range is hugely over priced,Go for either an old Hornby Pannier tank off ebay (or the bachmann one, as they are far superior) or get one of the Hornby Open Cab panniers from the Railroad Range.

For the amount of work required to modify this model, I would probably do a scratch-build instead, although I am lead to believe that hornby's mechanism for Toby is quite a good runner.

@10thstudio I didn't kill him, I performed plastic surgery on him; it's all the rage out here in California :)

Somehow, it seems through the whole video it is facing backwards. I wonder why....

@Calebtrain The driver is facing the end that use to have the face on it. As I removed some of the height to get it to the correct scale all that remained from the face was two small holes, which were filled with modeling putty. Also, if you hadn't noticed several views are shown with both the driver at the front and back if you need a reference point.

@hartleymartin Suprizingly the chassis is a very good runner. I wouldn't recommend the hornby open cabbed pannier, I found the chassis on that ran terrible. But honestly if you want to foregoe all the interior detail and repaint this can be done in about an hour.

@username5515 Not too much, I think 25 pounds for all the supplies. It's the time that it took that was the problem. Took a good 36 hours but there was a lot of admiring involved. :)
