"The Man Who Wasn't There", released in 1983, features the Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington DC. The family of Pres.-Elect Obama was staying there prior to his inauguration this year, 2009. This is On-Location filming with Steve Guttenberg hanging from a sheet rope on the facade of the hotel. The locale is directly across from the White House. Hopelessly BAD movie with roles wasted on some Name actors.

I remember this---from the extremely-short lived 3-D trend of the early 80's---the movie stunk,and the 3-D was horrible.
