Sadly, the values held by most of the residents of Tempe and Phoenix do not align with the local, independent voice. That's why so many people just leave. There's too much against them. The real estate and contracting laws and businessmen have bought those cities long, long ago. We were lucky to have what we did have, for as long as we had it.
