Shaggy Travel Show 2k9 - 02 - Prereg Pickup

FINALLY! This video has been ready for a long while, but it just WOULDN'T RENDER. The reason? Here's the deal with the FlipCam HD. YES, it looks great and all for it's size, BUT the mp4 file type it makes HATES HUMANITY. Or at least all my editing software.

This camera was really only meant to shoot and upload right away; no editing, no effects, nothing. So when try to do that, and cut together a video that's longer than 3 minutes, the software gets buggy (I tried Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier AND Final Cut Pro, all had trouble) and even if you DO finally get something cut together, IT WON'T RENDER.

I spent a long while looking for mp4 converters, specifically with the Flip in mind, but all the ones I used either created a choppy file, or...it just didn't work.

Then tonight, I decided to try Adobe After Effects. Just, load up all the clips, re-render them as something else, and replace all my edits with these new files.

DONE. It worked. After Effects remains the best software ever!

If you had any doubts of the power of the PSP, Dissidia would shatter them all. Aside from being a fanboy/fangirl romp through all that is Final Fantasy, it is a very original and well designed fighting game.
