Metroid Remix: Wisdom of the Chozo

This is a peaceful remix of the Brinstar Depths (Red Soil) theme from Super Metroid, reinterpreted to serve as a theme for the wise and ancient Chozo.

The minor chords of the original Red Soil song have been partly replaced with major scale writing, replacing feelings of uncertainty and tension with a more gentle, comforting mood. The beat has also been largely altered, with an extra bar added after every two measures.

The music itself was intended to reflect ancient wisdom, a sad history, and hope for the future.

This is the first composition I've released from the IPhone/IPad program, Music Studio.
Composition time: Approximately 7 hours

I love this song so much and have listened to it several times today alone. It's very peaceful and calming. Parts of it sound like they could from a music box, or be a lullaby (or both).

the fact that you have so few views just shows how underapreciated you are. your a wonderful remixer with amazing talent, and i find that there are only a handful of the remixed songs you have made that didn't take to me (they were still well made, i just didn't enjoy the tune as much as others) i really wish more people could hear these, because to a metroid and video game fan, these songs shower nastagia explosives on my landscape of music at a unprecidented rate:)
