If you've been keeping up to date with local industry news -- or hopefully our website -- then you might have heard of a new local headphone brand called Timbre. The brand, pronounced as Tamber will be releasing their first model called the Gitara -- aptly with a guitar-and-Philippine-flag-inspired design by Team Manila. The headphones comes in White or Black with a reasonably affordable pricetag of PHP 2,499 on December 15 at various shops -- including Team Manila stores, The Sole Project, Wooden Canvas, Analog Soul, The A Shop, Wardrobe.ph, and Vinyl on Vinyl. To give you guys a sneak peek into the device, we were able to secure a review unit to test out. We'll let you know what the verdict is on these, but for now, you can check out our video unboxing here!

  • @waaaaayan Unfortunately, there's no microphone built in. Hope that helps!

  • Does it include Line mic?

  • @maniabo808 Hi there! We'll try to put up the review within a few days to let you know. In general, the quality is not as impressive as those you mentioned but isn't so bad. Probably the biggest thing is the price. They sound a lot more like counterparts that are cheaper like TDK and other brands around 1-1.5k range. Hope that helps and hope you check out our review when its out. =)

  • How does the sound quality of this cans compare with other similarly priced cans like the superlux HD660 and Sens px200. Hope that this can isn't only built for aesthetic appeal, but i have to admit that Team Manila did a great job designing this one. Maybe next time, just a suggestion as a fellow designer step away from the Beats bandwagon and design something distinct for the brand. Kudos Team Manila

  • @AkoToMarjon We're breaking it in at the moment so that the drivers are well adjusted, we'll be able to give you the full lowdown when we put up the review on our site! =)

  • This the audio quality Good? The Aesthetics is really Good. Hope this is a good headset.I'm planning to get one when it will be released on 15th of December.
