As far as I know no one was arrested for property destruction. The most severe charges are actually going to journalists and other support personnel. Felony inciting a riot and felony conspiracy to riot and 8 event organizers(who had nothing to do with property destruction) have "in furtherance of terrorism" tacked on. Amy Good man was arrested for felony rioting, although I'm willing to concede that her charges may have been downgraded if not dropped altogether.

All a act....protections for journalist? Isn't that part of the job...take a chance seeing what happens. Journalist get killed covering floods, wars etc its all part of job. And its hard to fire tear gas in a crowd where there are a few bad apples and not get other people around those bad apples. But the good apples could have overwhelmed the bad ones and turned them over to police and they would have been glad.
