  • what engine do you have in that, i just got one and i think i am going to put an os .10 that i have in it, the engine in nib.

  • I use a .074 norvel. It works fine except - it is difficult to start by hand.

  • man u are a really bad pilot...and yeah that is pretty bad to fly a nitro plane in that size of a field. get urself a ama membership and a club. o and learn how to fly

  • thanks

  • I saw this video and I cringed. You are breaking about four laws and endangering people. I mean, I hate to rag on you but they make flying fields for a reason. Never fly a nitro model in a park.

  • I asked the park ranger before flying. He said it was ok as long as there was no one on the field I was using. What are these four laws, just so I know the risks next time I fly? and the reason I chose to fly here - is because rc a/p groups where I live charge $250 and up /yr to use their field. I think that's outrageous, especially since I was able to fly for free at a huge flying field owned by the city in Florida. Thanks for the heads-up.

  • I don't see anything at all wrong with flying it there, especially if no one but the cameraman was present.

  • I dont see much difference in flying that nitro in a park versus some of the e-stuff I see in the parks around here...

Small glow motor... Outrunner... not much difference - they'll both punch a nice hole in just about anything they hit.

But yea... work on the flyin skills a bit bro.. keep it steady so at least people think you have control of it... few will mind a plane that flys with manners, regarless of motor type.

  • I'm wondering the same thing. What size is the engine?

  • Its perfectly OK to fly a 1/2a airplane in a park. Unfortunately these guys are dangerous.
