96MB of RAM was never enough for Mac OS X. 10.1 only started to move at a decent rate with 160MB of RAM, and even then you'd have hardly any left to open any programs(excellent virtual memory management struggling to be of any assistance on these old slow hard drives).

@wwoorrdd I agree with you about that. 10.1 was sluggish as lol. It originally had OS 9 but it was Asian and I couldn't read half of the stuff on it. If I still had the clam-shell I would have reloaded 9.2.2 and put a heap of software and games on it. But for now my old power-mac running OS 9 is enough.

Could you in theory take a 900mhz g3 cpu from one logic board and solder it to a clamshell?

@daro2096 I would doubt it. The chips would be different I would imagine.
