Loretta Napoleoni for the Virtual Department of Political and Social Studies, chapter two.
The good impression received from the first video with Dot 2.0 convinced the great best-seller Italian economist to give us a second interview, with reference to the publication of her last effort "Maonomics".
Professor Napoleoni answered to many questions, regarding several and very different topics, from the European crisis to the English elections, from the political role of the new media to the future of Dot 2.0

In particular, Loretta Napoleoni spoke about the risk that an ideological communication and propaganda prevent the Western world from fully understanding the actual structural decline its economy is facing. The conversation went on, after our meeting at the Luxor hotel which kindly allowed us to film the interview, as the Dot 2.0 staff followed Professor Napoleoni to the Politecnico of Turin, where she took part to the annual meeting of the Italian section of Amnesty.

The works and resteless activity of Loretta Napoleoni show the importance of an accurate scientific research. But the pride about having her here as guest, nonetheless, derives from her effort to communicate the outcome of her studies to a larger audience, beyond the traditional academic borders.
That is the same goal which the Virtual Department promotes.
