  • Excellent. I am having C5-C7 done Monday. Everything I am seeing with the Prodisc is what you portray in this video. Thanks for sharing.

  • down the road. already I have osteopenia, softening of the bones. I want an exoskeleton like a cyborg, lol!

  • From all I've heard, this type of injury is the gateway to other spinal issues

  • Unfortunately, I found out about this too late. Had I known and had I checked, I never would have proceeded because, he had several red flags including a settled malpractice suit. @rkl17, I have faith you will be OK. These surgeries are done hundreds of times daily with a very low chance of my outcome. Put your faith in yiur Higher Power's hands, ask for prayers

  • @rkl17 I truly wish I could answer you but can't afford a libel suit. I.can say this: he WAS a doctor in NJ but his license to practice has been yanked. I strongly suggest that ANYONE having surgery, pay a visit to their state's Attorney General website and look to see if the doctor has any flags, disciplinary issues, penfing or settled malpractice issues, etc.

  • @512jellybeans Hi Jeane. Just read your story, and I'm hoping you have made good progress & are doing better now. I had the same surgery as you twice (C5-6 & C6-7 with plate & screws) and mine went well. Have lots more damage in my spine & will need future surgeries, but I'm grateful that my operations had a good outcome, and I'm so very sorry that yours didn't. Thank God you regained use of your arms!! Sounds like a miracle. Good luck with future treatment and your lawsuit. God Bless you.

  • I rode my motorcycle on the 4th 8 weeks after ACDF. Boy, that was a BIG MISTAKE!!!

My weakness as well as spasms have returned with a vengeance. My advice (if you would even consider it) don't do nothing for at least four months. I just wanted to be normal again, do the stuff I used to do. I felt good, but I have to realize I'll never be 'normal' again. By the way, the surgery was a success.

  • @512jellybeans Don't need the details - but PLEASE say the name of the physician. I will have surgery soon C5-C6, C6-C7. I have a lot of people who depend on me, I cannot have this outcome

  • Were you permanently paralyzed? Can you tell me if you underwent surgery in the US?

  • Had, C4-C7 done with doner bone, and plates, two years ago. My life and pain were pure hell for years before this surgery. It helped sooo much! but.... now I have severe numbness in both pinky's and palms. Severe weakness. i am so scared something else has went wrong. Can't get into see the surgeon that did the operation, until the 23rd of this month. Went to my family doctor today, and he ordered an xray. Waiting on results :(
