MTG Rules Episode 2 - Lantern Blocking & Necrotic Corpse-Born

This video will explain 2 different situations in possible Standard matches where the rules might be unclear.

Lucky for y'all Rule Master Rob explains it all, with the help of my friend/opponent Nicholas (Nicky) and my cameraman Brian.

The first example was asked by "joecerasuolo1"

First I will show you how Lantern Spirit (http://tinyurl.com/6tygpy6) works against blocking a Generic Vanilla Creature like Bonebreaker Giant (http://tinyurl.com/7usm8ot) as an example. Then I will show you how a French Vanilla card like Stampeding Rhino (http://tinyurl.com/7o8v4km) with Trample works in the same situation. Plus a bonus example to show how a creature being sacrificed while blocking affects the situation similar to Lantern Spirit.

Finally I will close off with how Necrotic Ooze (http://tinyurl.com/8xa845h) copies the ability of a Grimgrin, Corpse-Born (http://tinyurl.com/875celh) in the graveyard even though Grimgrim doesn't say "this creature" in it's ability. Instead it says Grimgrin gets the ability and I shall clarify this Technicality Ruling for you.

Anything else used is irrelevant to the overall 2nd ruling question and was just chosen at random (like the Bonebreaker Giant & Stampeding Rhino).
