Hi Tom. It was finding your channel on YouTube that inspired me to try and get back into modelling as a hobby. I had abandoned modelling after university due to the normal "life" pressures, but about a year or so ago, I got re-inspired, and you helped! I even joined a local modelling club. Thank you.

@damncranky666 I just used some of your latest advice and wet sanded the J2 floor. While dry sanding would have scuffed the surface in a bad way, wet sanding amazed me with a fine result using 1000grit! (I've been empathizing with you on the 'cold factor' here in SoCal. After my first winter here nearly a decade ago, I lost my New England resistance to the chill and now anything under 65 is nippy. And it's hitting the 30s nightly the past few weeks! brrr.) @STICKYHOUSE It's off to the side. There's a makerbot meet this sunday, I'll make a point of shooting a few minutes on it. But I haven't used it anywhere near the amount of time I wanted to. Still, it's a heavy tool sitting on the back bench waiting for use.
