Hey, great models. What kind of model do you start off with? Is there some brand/manufacturer you would recommend. booth for building youself and ready-made ones.

Great job on the models. I have just downloaded a few videos of models I have completed as well. Out of interest, do you use acrylic paints to do washes over to get dirt and wear and tear into all the joints. Really good effort, glad I have found your video and will favourite it! TTFN.

Yeah I use a very thin black or rust wash from acrylics. I cover the entire piece in the wash and let stand a few minutes to set up, then wipe almost all of it off. Then I dry brush from darkest to lightest usually ending up with bright white for the highlights.

As far as star wars models, probably the least complicated was snowspeeder and At-St. Ebay has them pretty cheap.
