Maybe One Day

This film conveys a sense of life and experience, extreme and heightened feelings as well as pensive and quiet moments. It is reminiscence, a visual diary and a document of a day. This is achieved through the journey of one man.

This months' Future Shorts festival title is inspired by Golden Bear winning film 'Please Say Something' by David O'Reilly which is featured as part of the programme.

These lines juxtaposition to the lines that follow really shook me. It felt like a wave of absolute defeat and bitterness was poised to overflow here, and is suddenly cut off by a jocular enjoyment of the life that the speaker is blessed with and has seized.
