Jeff Barney (Black shorts and shirt) in his second MMA fight, fights Taylor Brockbank (about 20 lbs heavier than Jeff). What an amazing fight! Controlling the pace throughout the fight with great movement and being able to stay calm and pick his shots; Jeff takes advantage of a perfect opportunity in the second round and puts Taylor to sleep, LITERALLY, with a guillotine choke! He was completely passed out and stayed passed out for about 20 seconds! Jeff later said that he remembered going through a "check-list" as soon as he got his opponent in the choke, making sure he was doing the guillotine the correct way. Obviously it was perfectly executed. On the ground, right before the fight is stopped, you can see Jeff looking up at the ref. Jeff said that the ref asked if Taylor tapped; Jeff says "No, I think he's out. Move his arm". The ref moves Taylor's arm and immediately stops the fight after. Great fight! Good job Jeff and Taylor.

  • Where did this fight take place, and where does Jeff train out of? Only asking because him and I share the same first and last name and I thought it was interesting that he was also an mma fighter. Jeff "The Wolverine" Barney, 8th Street Gym, Grand Junction Colorado.
