This documentary tells the story of the most incredible source of Military Intelligence, revealed by its once-secret archives.
The story of the Potsdam Missions: a handful of men French, British, American and Soviet on official liaison missions with opposing commands, but also on permanent intelligence operations.
Twenty years (1989-2009) since the fall of the Berlin Wall, now is the time to reveal the contents of these Missions, small western military units operating behind the Iron Curtain from 1947 to 1990, often in exceedingly perilous conditions.
$:19 shows the aftermath of the ramming by NVA troops of the French Military mission - the Mission Warrant Officer died in this 'accident'.

Wow, I'm glad I found this. I was not aware of this film. Thank you for posting this. My interest is because I have recently been Introduced into Russian culture by students who came to the U.S. where I live and in my studies I found out a local man was in the AMLM in the Soviet military and wrote an amazing book called Licensed To Spy that tells many stories of this nature. I must get this movie. If you are interested in this movie I highly reccomend books by John A. Fahey.
