For Red Sox Nation, the pains of 86 excruciating years was heart and spirit breaking. We cry, cheer, and bleed Red Sox baseball--it runs through our veins and passed down generation to generation. No matter how difficult the loses were our hope and faith in Boston stayed alive--for over 8 decades. In 2004, the dreams of millions of Red Sox fans, alive or deceased, finally came true.

I still get goosebumps watching and reliving the 2004 season. You really can't ask for a better story. Had it been a movie, no one would believe it to be true. Especially, when we're down 0-3 against a powerful, resurgent, and seemingly unstoppable Yankees team--no team had ever came back from an 0-3 deficit. What a magical season!

@IMByrne Yeah, Nomar has always been my favorite player. Him and his weird batting rituals...gotta love it. Can't help but admire the guy! I really was heartbroken when we traded him, but it turned out for the best...unfortunately (ironically). A bittersweet victory, you can say.

The trade that put this impossible team come together.As much as Nomar was such a big part and too bad that he wasn't part of this team when they won everything.Theo did what most master deals wouldn't or couldn't do.He helped produce the championship that these old and young time fans were waiting for.If Theo goes then so be it but will the magic ever appear again.Back to basics.
