Tecmo Super Bowl - 155-0 - 1st Quarter

Even though this is no longer the world record (159-0 is), this is still one of my favorite runs. I used to play this game to death when it first came out. In my opinion, it's STILL one of the best football games you can buy!

So hearken back to 1991, when the Patriots used to stink and the Raiders used to be good. Throw in a heavy dose of Bo Jackson's wicked speed, quarterbacks that can throw for a mile, and defenders that can force fumbles on almost every play, and you get a football experience unlike any other!

@craig79792000 Funny. Yeah, I can see where the title could be confusing. Someday i really need to repost these short, multi-part videos as singles, now that YouTube allows for larger content. Anyway, glad you liked the video. I love this game! :)

@rdrunner0077 I love how it gets more difficult as you progress through the season. Programmers were ahead of their time with this classic. I have tried every way to play a season. All on sides kicks, all fg's, all long bombs. It never gets old.

@craig79792000 Definitely never gets old. I love how short the games are. Forget that realism crap from the Madden games. 15-20 min is plenty!

@mikeycoogs Nice. I played this game a lot and the highest I ever scored was 98-0. No dumb cheats or playbook changes. It was crazy.

@rdrunner0077 I won 158-0 as the Raiders vs. Colts by altering playbook on the original NES. Always assumed that had to be a record. Is 159 documented somewhere?

really stupid that you can change playbooks. I got an 85-0 in reg season without changing playbooks.

In a word, "undocumented". :) I have no idea what the limits are, but obviously the scores would all be lower if you couldn't edit playbooks.
