The AC cobra is not a muscle car. It's barely even a sports car. It's a street legal race car. Corvettes aren't muscle cars either. they are sports cars. A muscle car is an intermediate with a V8.

I don't see why people complain that the Corvette ain't on here, it was in a class of it's own, more sports car than muscle car. I think the 1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 1 should be on here, factory 370hp & 510lb-ft of torque, it don't get much more muscle than that (except with a 440+6 or 426 Hemi)

may want to look over your information angian. first mustangs were not muscle cars it is a pony car not enough horespower to be qualified. Also you may want to look at information on the gto over agian it was the first muscle car to start the phase, and it stayed the top car for most of its reign

@mattropoliss not really, they can compete with the old ones (but the old ones got a soul) they need the electorinics to keep up with the rest off the car industry, which they dont. An european sports-car is just nicer in the long run...
