Missile MBDA MICA

El MICA MBDA es un misil anti-multi aire-objetivo, con un sistema de alcance corto y medio. Está destinado para su uso tanto por aire como las plataformas de misiles individuales, así como las unidades de tierra y buques, que puede ser equipado con el Rapid Fire MICA lanzamiento vertical del sistema. Está equipado con un control del vector de empuje (TVC) del sistema.

Fue desarrollado a partir de 1982 por Matra. Los primeros ensayos se produjeron en 1991, y el misil fue comisionado en 1996 para equipar a los Rafale y Mirage 2000. Se trata de un reemplazo para los dos interceptación Super 530 y Magic II. Dos pueden ser disparados en un intervalo de dos segundos.
