THE INCREDIBLE CREW OF AIR ANGELS MEDEVAC HELICOPTER...
I AM VERY SADDENED BY THE OVERNITE CRASH OF THE AIR ANGELS HELICOPTER IN AURORA,IL..THIS IS THE CHOPPER THAT WAS INVOLVED IN THE ACCIDENT.
MY THOUGHTS & PRAYERS ARE WITH THE CREW,THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS,AND MY HEART GO'S OUT TO THE FAMILY OF THE VICTIM THEY WERE TRANSPORTING & THE MANY FRIENDS IN THE FIRE & EMS COMMUNITY

so, if anyone reads this, I am the flight nurse in this video. I was employed with Air Angels during the crash. I miss my boys every day and think of their families often.

amen to that!, it sucks air angles went out of buisness and its horriable that they had the crash, they were a terrific life flight team and they strived everyday to help every victim they handled. I have an incrediablee amout of respect for all life flight pilots, nureses, and physicians

when they were loading the patient into the helicopter, was one of the flight nurses doing chest compressions on the patient?

I am so saddened to hear of the fate of the crew that was killed in the crash. They gave their lives trying to save another. I'm also sad that it ultimately led to the flight service closing it's doors for good. An incredible shame. God bless to their friends and coworkers as well as their family. May they always stay safe whether on the ground or in the air.

This appears to be a Bell 230, or 222, which is what was used in the tv show Air Wolf. The 222 once known as Air Wolf was retired from the show, sold to a german medical helicopter company , and saddly it also crashed.

These awesome people make me proud in this dismal time we are in. I had a med- evac flight form Tampa Florida, save my life on October 4, 2006, when i had muriatic acid thrown in my face. If you are a med evac pilot thank you for all that you do for us.
