yes you can, all you have to do is set it up for remote access and you can install any program as a regular computer would. file transfers are pretty fast in a wired network. check it out /watch?v=ThOnq5VPL00&hd=1

@emtildeath yeah well, MSFT's marketing is horrid. Maybe if they have a professional marketing team demo their products they'd sell more. Look at WHS, no one besides a hand-full of people know about it, and because of that, MSFT is ending WHS after Vail. So enjoy it while it lasts because it's basically dead already. p.s. Who says "muppet" ?

That video streaming was as slow as molasses, can you believe they demoed that?? I want vail for my media server im going to build but they need to look at some of Apple's lag free video product demos for some inspiration. All of these engineers working on this, with Microsoft's literally unlimited budget and they cant make a video where the video and music doesn't lag? Give me a break! Rant over. Group hug...
