Thanks i didn't know how to tune the amp before,i didn't even know it was possible.I'm trying to make it have the effect of sound like carlos santanas effects.

haha coool yeah who reads manuals and the box comes off anyway.. Spare 20 bucks :)
-
The tuner is usually a bit off, but that's pretty much the only problem with the amp.
-
I have mixed feelings about this amp.

Hello..I understand u dont have this amp anymore..But I'm just curious, How well does it take analog stompboxes infront of the amp input? It seems to sound pretty nice but the cam sound can be tough to study sometimes..Are there any chances the amp might suffer from using stompboxes as mentioned before? Thanks

@Japfiio It takes analog (and digital) pedals very well in front of the input, depending on what pedal and model you use. IE, I wouldn't recommend using a distortion pedal with the 6505 model. Here's another tip, if you have a harmonizer pedal and a distortion pedal, put the harmonizer after the distortion. Otherwise, the harmonies just sound nasty, even if they're in key.

Can you share some of your Metal Presets?
CrimzonAE 1 year ago
@CrimzonAE @CrimzonAE All the presets I demonstrate here are how it's set up straight out of the box. I don't have this amp anymore since I got a JSX, but I still try to asnswer questions when I can. Pretty much any amp on the left side of the modeling dial can get a metal sound. Epecially the 6505,JSX and XXX models. And, you can always put a distortion pedal in front of the amp and use one of the clean models.

how do u save ur settings...
TheClipsify 1 year ago
@TheClipsify On the lower left of the control panel, there are buttons marked "presets" number 1 through 4 . To the left of that ate buttons marked A,B,C. Once get your setting dialed in how you like it, choose a bank (A,B,or C) then hold down one of the numbered buttons for a few seconds. The setting should be saved the way you dialed it in the next time you turn on the amp. I don't remember if the lights blink or anything to show your setting has been saved.
