Buffaloes 5, Fighters 2
Chad Allen, formerly of the Kansas City Royals, broke a 2-2 tie
with a two-run bases-loaded double with one out in the sixth and
Arihito Muramatsu added insurance with a RBI infield single in Orix's
come-from-behind victory over Nippon Ham.
Orix right-handed starter Tom Davey (1-0) limited the damage to
two runs, despite allowing eight hits and two walks in 6-2/3 innings
for the win. Reliever Lance Carter got three outs in the ninth for
the save at Kyocera Dome in Osaka.
Nippon Ham right-hander Satoru Kanemura (0-1) took the loss,
snapping a 15-game winning streak against Orix. Fernando Seguignol
opened the scoring with a two-run blast in the fourth, but Greg
LaRocca retorted in the bottom half with a two-run drive of his own.
For anyone who doesn't know...The Nippon Ham Fighters name was originally 'Japan Fighting Pigs' but was changed in1962.

What the hell is Allen's problem? If he's that frustrated in Japan, it's going to be a long season for him. He should get familiar with the farm team players.
