Early this December, Andrija Majsen escaped, albeit momentarily, the freezing winter of his native Slovenia to visit the Philippines. His friend and tour guide, Alman Dave Quiboquibo, took him up north to Banaue, Batad, and Sagada where the weather wasn't exactly tropical. Andri met Alman and his friends last February at the rooftop of Borneo Backpackers in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
