@buchananstreet Whilst I agree with your view on FLoyds ability to forsee certain events, I will have to disagree that it was one of their best albums. Whilst Gilmours guitar was, as ever, spot on, it all appeared a little ballady to me, the lyrics more focusing on poetic content, rather than the raw passion that were present in the lyrics of Waters. I am split over The Final Cut, although its message is clear, It too lacks the most important aspect of FLoyd.. the full band cohesion.

@stamford75 Because all those lists are either made by Rolling Stone (which is complete rubbish) or they are biased by ignorants.

@boneblade89 Or while smoke some canabis and/or make love...am I the only who wants to try this while listening to some Pink Floyd? Must be pretty...exciting

@lmw289 If one of these songs had had to be in DSOTM, would probably have been "Marooned" in my opinion...but still both of these songs are pretty much equal to me in my favorite album :)

How the hell David Gilmore is not in the top ten guitarist of all time is beyond me.

This album is so good all the way through.......never get tired of it.

I love Gilmour's style of play
@MrMoviemaster26 , i agree totally, this album was cimpletely underrated - it is one of their very best in fact and more visionary than all the silly optimism of the post wall time - they were the ONLY band who saw it all coming, crisis, lies, deceptions, disappointments etc while stupid bands like SCORPIONS or U2 with their ACHTUNG BABY were just sucking the dick of zeitgeist and mass dullness and media hype
