they need at least a 40 gallon breeder tank. heat and UVB bulbs. umm......substrate obviously. i use crushed walnut shells. they are ok as long as you feed them in a seperate cage. a hide and a climbing stick. a temp guage a water bowl and veggie bowl if you choose to use one
