I wouldn't exactly say GB is forgotten but it's a shame they weren't able to transition to another designer. This clip is from the magnificent Spring 1990 collection. Several of these dresses were photographed and appeared in both the 1995 and 2004 books. Beene's work became particularly exclusive and couture-like around 1983 and the early 90s saw some of his most critically acclaimed pieces.
