Rare recording of Moody Blues performing their number one hit "Go Now". Brian Epstein is the guy sat on the stool pensively watching them. This is a really nice song but with no hint of what was about to come...

  • Denny Laine a nice voice.

  • Great voice. I presume it's live too, despite a few sync issues.

  • Epstein really had a thing for lead singers hey :)

  • Great emotion

  • JUST MADE IT.... In 1965 "Go Now" peaked at No. 10 thus just making Billboard's Top 10 and it spent a total of 14 weeks in the Top Hot 100!!!

This record was the Moody Blues debut onto Billboard's Hot Top 100...

Bessie Bank originally recorded this song in 1962, it reached No. 40 on Cash Box's R&B Singles chart...

Covered by Ozzy Osbourne, Simply Red, and the Wings' Denny Laine...

  • no dont

  • go now

  • @holbillybt The Moodies are in Cape Town in May, later this year. Tickets are already booked and can't wait to see them. I hope the new flautist will be playing voices in the sky!!

  • @kris242 I agree, It seems that with the departure of Denny Laine to Wings, so Justin, who then became the chief songwriter, everything changed, very much for the better!!!

  • Nice song. Watched him sing this live in the 1976 Wings concert. Denny's a great singer too and holds his own next to Paul. =)
