  • Hello... sorry for delay, i dont get on to the net that often. The log had been felled about 2 months ago, if not slightly longer. Cant be exactly sure as had been living in Cumbria for a while and had not been in my local woods for ages. Oh i do have permission to do this kind of thing there! Thanks for subscribing.

  • The wood i am splitting is ASH (fraxinus excelsior)i use wedges made from hazel to help me slpit it.
