Come on now, you cant stay mad at me forever...This is the end of the religious discussion, strictly wrestling from now on....

"Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust.

You couldn't be here if stars hadn't exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren't created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode.

So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today."

  • I believe in rationality. Morality hinders us. "Murder is wrong" and yet we cheer when the US kills innocent women and children in piss poor countries just to kill the enemy.

  • @PCarrier61 No, the existence of a man named Jesus has not been scientifically proven. Creationists can swerve facts however they wish to. This is not a universally accepted fact (not even vaguely) by the scientific community.

Did a man named Jesus exist? Most likely.

Was he Dumbledore and the Son of God? No. I'd bet my life on it.

As for Science and the bible co-existing; how so? Have you even read your bible?

    The bible fails, hard.

  • Well, I can live with this response. I won't claim to be the most religious person, but I have a belief in a higher power. I also believe in science. The two can actually coexist. Scientific history can actually support each other if taken from certain standpoints. A lot of what the Bible covers as history is also covered in Sumerian history, albeit in its own unique form. It is what it is, and all I care for is the truth.

  • @RockAustinDXtakerRk0 Actually, Jesus is covered in higher level history courses. And not from a religious standpoint. From a scientific standpoint. It is accepted within the historical community that Jesus of Nazareth existed. Perhaps not from the Bible standpoint, but that the man existed.

  • Excellent video man, I love living my life free from religious delusions.

  • if there is a god he shouldn't & wouldn't want to be worshiped. only an evil entity wants to be worshiped. reminds me of a star trek movie can't remember which one, but kirk says this to alien entity pretending to be god "what does god, need with a starship?"

  • @Netsdawg1 Wow, dude...............

  • @RockAustinDXtakerRk0 Epic Fail? not so much. It being the greatest book ever writen can not be denied no book has had a greater impact on history hense greatest book ever. I know yo prefere athiests for dummys writen by Richard Dawkins.
