If you ask me the progression of the 2nd movement trio is one of the most beautiful moments in the entire orchestral repertoire.

How in the world can someone conduct an orchestra of this caliber using music??? Chichon, screw yourself and pray that Karajan or Walter won't hunt your nights :)

Wow i get to play this, this is definitely going to be a challenge especially that fourth movement, wow the MSU symphony has their work cut out for them

@banxrmed3e Franz Liszt admired this piece for its originality at the time, as well as its other merits.
I can put the fourth movement into words: WHEEEEE! What a ride! Somehow it always reminds me of the cavalry riding to the rescue, or wild horses on the Steppes.
This is the best performance of this music on The Web....anywhere!

As a horn player, all the pain of the second movement is made all better by the solo, its so beautiful to play.
